Kejriwal urges party workers, supporters to work hard for Delhi Assembly poll
Former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Friday urged party workers to dedicate themselves for the upcoming Assembly elections in Delhi.
In a video message to party workers and supporters, he said the AAP was a fresh air in the political sphere of this country. “We have to take this forward… AAP is the only hope… If need be, you need to dedicate your body, mind and wealth for the nation. In the upcoming Assembly elections, I urge you to come forward and dedicate as much time as you can to prepare the party for the elections.”
He said in the last two years, the party had suffered several challenges, and in the upcoming elections, they (BJP) would pull out every trick to make the AAP lose. “But we cannot let them win. In the 75 years of Independence, people have for the first time saw politics of work taking a centrestage. People have seen what all can be done if the government is honest. However, there is still a lot of work to do,” he said.
“Whenever you are feeling weak or disappointed or angry, take (Lord) Ram's name, it has a lot of strength, you will feel at peace. Similarly, people from different faith take your God's name and you will be at peace,” he added.
