Addressing a press conference today Delhi’s former CM Arvind Kejriwal, attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said whatever he did was for his 'friend’.

Accusing the BJP-led Central Government of stalling development works in the national capital, the AAP’s National Convenor said now that he had come out of jail all works would be completed before the scheduled elections.

On being asked about Haryana Assembly exit polls, Kejriwal said, "PM Modi’s true face is now being revealed to people. They use investigative agencies and resources to attack the opposition. It has become clear that he is only working for his friend. He says one thing and does something else."

He further said the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) raid on Sanjeev Arora’s house, the party’s Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab, this morning was only to break the spirit of the party and its leaders. "They arrested me, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, Satyendar Jain and Vijay Nair. This indicates that the case is not being investigated for corruption but they are coming after a party (AAP)."

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, who accompanied Kejriwal at the press conference, said restructuring of roads was being undertaken at war-front. She said tenders were being issued to fix damaged roads which were under the purview of the Public Works Department.

"I assure the people of Delhi that all development work will be undertaken at the war-front and all the schemes that were closed by the BJP-led Centre, we will work to get them completed before the elections." Kejriwal added.
