The BJP on Friday called for the immediate resignation of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, following the Supreme Court's decision to grant him conditional bail in the Delhi excise policy case. At a press conference, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia accused Kejriwal of losing moral ground to continue in office.

"The Supreme Court has shown the mirror to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by granting him conditional bail," Bhatia said. "Kejriwal should immediately resign. He has gone from being a 'jail wale CM' to a 'bail wale CM,'" he remarked.

He further criticised the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, accusing him of lacking integrity. "Besharam Kejriwal won't resign because he has no moral compass left," he claimed, noting that despite spending six months in jail, and now receiving conditional bail, Kejriwal continued to hold his position.
