‘Which CM governs from jail’
The people of Delhi have endorsed PM Modi. The BJP secured victory in all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi. The city residents desire liberation from the corrupt regime of Arvind Kejriwal. Which Chief Minister governs from jail? — Virender Sachdeva, Delhi BJP President
In a resolution passed at the meeting, the Delhi BJP expressed its resolve to remove the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, citing issues of “corruption, misgovernance and anarchy”. The resolution affirmed, “The victory of the Lok Sabha elections will be replicated in the Delhi Assembly elections scheduled for early next year.”
During the meeting, which focused on the BJP’s preparedness for the Assembly elections, leaders and workers were asked to inform people about the Narendra Modi-led Central Government’s schemes and welfare projects while highlighting the “failures” of the AAP-led Delhi dispensation.
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva highlighted the party’s recent achievements and public response to alleged corruption under the AAP government. He said, “The people of the Capital have bestowed their blessings on the BJP with all seven Lok Sabha seats, delivering a resounding message against the alleged corruption of the Arvind Kejriwal-led government.”
Sachdeva criticised both AAP and Congress, describing their recent electoral alliance as a union of two failed parties driven by selfish interests, which he asserted led to their defeat. He targeted AAP’s leadership, accusing the Chief Minister of constructing a luxurious bungalow worth over Rs 50 crore during the Covid-19 period.
Touching on the water crisis in Delhi, Sachdeva accused the Kejriwal government of being “in league with the tanker mafia” and highlighted scandals associated with the Delhi Jal Board. He called upon party workers to intensify efforts for the upcoming Assembly polls, stating, “We will end this period of exile.”
Reflecting on the BJP’s intent to capitalise on their Lok Sabha successes, Sachdeva said, “The people of Delhi have endorsed Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The BJP secured victory in all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi. The people of Delhi desire liberation from the corrupt regime of Arvind Kejriwal. Which Chief Minister governs from jail?”
An exhibition was also held on the stadium premises to showcase BJP government’s achievements over the past 10 years.
