AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday announced that senior citizens above the age of 60 would receive free treatment from government and private hospitals.

He said ‘Sanjeevani Yojana’ scheme would be brought in this regard if the AAP was voted back to power in February 2025 poll. “This is a guarantee from the Kejriwal government for all our elderly residents in Delhi,” the former Delhi chief minister said.

Kejriwal also said that there would be no income limit for the scheme and no upper limit for treatment, and all senior citizens above the age of 60 would receive the benefits under it.

Similar to the registration of Mukhymantri Mahila Samman Yojana, he said AAP volunteers would visit people for registration in the next 2-3 days wherein they would be provided with a card. “Keep your cards safe with you, when voted back to power, we will soon bring in the scheme. The entire cost will be borne by the government,” he said.
