Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva on Saturday criticised Sunita Kejriwal for her recent statements questioning the judiciary amid her husband’s legal troubles.

Sachdeva condemned these remarks, describing them as shocking and unwarranted. He accused her of mastering the art of storytelling akin to her husband and other party colleagues within the AAP.

“The recorded video statement issued by the Aam Aadmi Party is a shocking statement. It’s shocking to see Sunita casting aspersions on judiciary,” Sachdeva remarked.

He further criticised her narrative, particularly regarding the bail granted to MP MS Reddy’s son, stating, “It’s surprising to see her casting doubts on the judiciary’s decision-making process. Every law-abiding citizen knows that bail and pardon are granted by the court, not influenced by any investigative agency.”

Sachdeva emphasised, “Sunita should know that the case against Kejriwal is based on multiple pieces of evidence, not solely on the statement of MSR.”

Referring to a previous court observation, he said, “She should recall that the Delhi HC in its April 9 order had remarked that Kejriwal is the main conspirator of the liquor scam and there are evidences of his receiving kickbacks from the liquor mafia.”
