New Delhi, August 23

The Delhi BJP’s youth wing, under the leadership of state BJP president Virendra Sachdeva, will convene its executive committee meeting at the state office on Saturday. Party’s national general secretary BL Santosh will be the chief guest at the meeting, according to a party official.

Speaking about the meeting, Sagar Tyagi, president of the Delhi Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), said, “Our executive committee meetings are held every three to four months. Following our state executive meeting, we proceed with meetings for different fronts and districts. Tomorrow’s meeting is for the yuva morcha, which will include state officials, district presidents, general secretaries and mandal presidents as it will be an extended executive meeting.”

Detailing the schedule, Tyagi said, “The meeting will commence at 10.45 am with the lighting of the lamp and the singing of the national song, Vande Mataram. Following this, our president will deliver the welcome address. Afterwards, Pawan Rana, Delhi BJP state general secretary, will outline the upcoming plans and provide guidance on how the morcha should operate. Finally, Santosh will offer direction and advice to all youth members.”

In addition to the youth wing’s gathering, an OBC national executive committee meeting, led by K Laxman, will also take place on the same day at 11 Ashoka Road. Party leader Vinod Tawde and Santosh will be the chief guests at this meeting, which will focus on matters concerning the OBC community within the party’s organisational framework.
