Cong’s ‘Nyay Yatra’ rallies support in Old Delhi, targets Arvind Kejriwal govt
The Congress’ ‘Nyay Yatra’, led by Delhi Congress president Devender Yadav, made a significant push through Old Delhi on its second day, with the party rallying supporters and calling for change.
Starting from Jama Masjid, the yatra covered 25 km, passing through areas such as Chandni Chowk, Sadar Bazar and Azad Market before concluding at Bara Hindu Rao.
Along the way, Yadav and thousands of party workers visited prominent religious sites, including Gauri Shankar Mandir, Sis Ganj Gurdwara, Jain Temple and the Central Baptist Church. The route also took them through the Assembly segments of Chandni Chowk, Sadar, Karol Bagh, Rajinder Nagar and Patel Nagar.
Yadav claimed the yatra is resonating with Delhi’s residents, many of whom have become disillusioned with the current administration. “The support we’re seeing is overwhelming. People are placing their hopes in the Congress to bring a new era of progress and development. They want an end to the misrule and injustice they’ve experienced under the Kejriwal government,” he said.
