Congress gaining momentum at grassroots, says Yadav
Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Devender Yadav said the Congress was gaining momentum at the grassroots level, with increasing enthusiasm among workers and leaders. Addressing monthly district Congress committee meetings across Delhi’s 14 districts, Yadav highlighted that people are disillusioned with the current government and now look to the Congress for solutions.
“The Congress is undergoing a transformation at the grassroots, as people are eager for a government that works for their welfare and addresses their problems,” Yadav said. He added that many leaders and workers from the BJP and Aam Aadmi Party are joining the Congress, disillusioned by the misgovernance of their parties.
“Rahul Gandhi’s dynamic leadership has inspired many. He speaks for every section of society and works to resolve their issues,” Yadav noted.
Criticising the Kejriwal government, Yadav accused it of stalling development and allowing civic services to deteriorate. “The AAP government had made hollow promises. Government schools are in decline and health services in hospitals are in shambles,” he said.
Yadav urged Delhiites to vote for a government that prioritises their welfare.
