Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Devender Yadav, accompanied by AICC secretary Sukhvinder Singh Danny, launched an outreach initiative by flagging off seven vans equipped with sound systems on Thursday.

Each van features a vacant chair for residents to share their views on improving Delhi’s infrastructure and facilities, aligning with the Congress slogan ‘Dilliwalon Aao — Dilli Chalao’.

Yadav emphasised the need for community input in shaping the upcoming Congress manifesto for the Assembly elections. “Suggestions of the people on how to make Delhi their dream city will be integral to our manifesto,” he stated.

“During our 15 years in power, we developed this city, but since the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) took over, we have seen apathy, neglect and corruption,” he added.

Criticising former CM Arvind Kejriwal and his government, he claimed, “Kejriwal, his ministers and AAP MLAs have been in and out of jail for various offences. The Congress will expose the corruption and failures of the Kejriwal government during our outreach campaign.”

“The AAP has let the people down through incompetence and corruption,” Yadav remarked.
