Online property tax from April ’25
New Delhi: The Delhi MC has announced that from April 1, 2025, it will no longer accept property tax payments made through RTGS, NEFT, or offline methods without an accompanying online Property Tax Return (PTR). As per the Delhi Municipal Corporation (Amendment) Act, 2003, property owners must file PTRs online to ensure their tax payments are recorded in the e-passbook system.
Land mutation to begin today
New Delhi: After a prolonged halt of 14 years, the process of agricultural land mutation in urbanised villages is set to resume on Friday, Raj Niwas officials said on Thursday.
