BJP, RSS silent on Kejriwal’s questions, says AAP MP
Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Monday said the BJP and RSS have been silent on the five questions posed by party convener Arvind Kejriwal in his address at ‘Janta ki Adalat’.
Singh asked when RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat would respond. Kejriwal had asked five questions to Bhagwat during the ‘Janta ki Adalat’.
He said, “The BJP has turned into a party that absorbs defectors from other political groups. The leaders whom PM Modi once labelled as the most corrupt in the country —according to a report, the BJP accused 23 Opposition leaders of serious corruption — were later given a clean chit by being welcomed into the party.”
Singh said, “It is the responsibility of the RSS to oversee the BJP and ensure it adheres to its values. Has Bhagwat ever tried to curb the BJP’s corruption and these actions?”
Commenting on JP Nadda’s recent statement, Singh remarked, “Has the son now grown up so much that he’s begun threatening his mother?”— a reference to the RSS being the parent organisation of the BJP.
