Arvind Kejriwal diverting attention from defeat in Haryana: BJP
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva accused AAP supremo and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of deliberately using his party leaders to divert attention from the AAP’s humiliating defeat in the recent Haryana Assembly elections. Sachdeva alleged that Kejriwal was trying to shift focus through Sanjay Singh and Priyanka Kakkar’s statements about a potential AAP-Congress alliance in Delhi.
“Kejriwal is aware that after the crushing defeat in Haryana, both his party workers and the media are eager to question him. By initiating talks about a possible alliance, he is trying to divert the public and media’s attention away from his failure,” he claimed.
Sachdeva added, “The people of Delhi have decided to punish Kejriwal for 10 years of destruction in the city. Whether the AAP and Congress form an alliance or not, it will not make any difference. Delhiites are done with Kejriwal,” he added.
