ABVP demands immediate release of CUET-UG results
New Delhi, July 6
The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has urged the National Testing Agency (NTA) to promptly declare the results of the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET-UG), citing disruptions to the academic calendar of universities and colleges.
The results of the CUET-UG examination, conducted from May 15 to 29, were expected to be announced by June 30. However, as of July 6, the NTA has not released the provisional answer key.
Expressing concerns over the delay in declaring the results, ABVP’s national general secretary Yagywalkya Shukla said, “All universities and educational institutions in the country should commence their academic sessions on schedule. The past disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic have already impacted students. The ongoing mismanagement and irregularities by the NTA are exacerbating their challenges and it is imperative that the issue is resolved immediately.”
The delay in the CUET-UG results has led to frustration among students, who are urging the NTA to expedite the evaluation process and release the results without further delay.
