Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva expressed gratitude to Saxena for issuing job letters to the victims of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

He hailed the decision as a reflection of the deep affection and strong bond between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Sikh community, particularly the victims of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

“These 47 job appointments, along with additional six appointments for family members of the victims who had exceeded the age limit, are a testament to Prime Minister Modi’s sensitivity and commitment towards the Sikh community,” said Sachdeva in a statement.

He further emphasised that the government’s gesture provides a brighter future for the families of the victims, who have long struggled with the scars of the riots.

Sachdeva noted that the Modi government has consistently shown goodwill towards the Sikh community, especially in addressing the painful legacy of the 1984 riots.
