New Delhi: Three men allegedly opened fire and pelted stones at a house in north-east Delhi, police said on Saturday. A police team reached the spot and found that one Akram had some personal enmity with the accused — Faizan, Irfan and Bhoora. On Friday, they reached Akram’s house and Faizan opened fire at Akram and his wife while Irfan and Bhoora pelted stones at their house, an official said. A case under Sections 109 (1) (attempt to murder), 3(5) (common intention) of the BNS and the Arms Act has been registered. The victim's family told the police the accused would often indulge in fights with people in the locality after getting drunk. PTI

Fire at factory in Alipur

New Delhi: A massive fire broke out in a fire in factory located in outer Delhi’s Alipur area on Saturday evening and 30 fire tenders were pressed into service, a Delhi Fire Service (DFS) official said. No one has been injured in the blaze and a dousing operation was underway, he said. PTI
