In the final match of the third Blind T-20 cricket tournament organised by the Disabled Welfare Society at the Railway Mandi HDCA cricket ground, Delhi beat Uttar Pradesh to lift the trophy. The Uttar Pradesh team won the toss and decided to bowl first. Put in to bat, the Delhi team set a target of 216 runs in 20 overs. For Delhi, Captain Manish Kumar scored an unbeaten century.

Batting second, the Uttar Pradesh team could score only 142 runs, losing the match by 74 runs. The Delhi team won the tournament with Captain Manish Kumar getting the Man of the Match award.

The match was inaugurated by Dr Ishan Kumar, newly elected MLA from Chabbewal. District Magistrate Komal Mittal, former Civil Surgeon Dr Ajay Bagga, MD of Hoshiarpur Automobiles Gurpreet Singh and Chairman of Nagar Sudhar Trust Harmeet Singh Aulakh, attended the ceremony and felicitated the teams. The team that came first was awarded Rs 16,000 and a trophy, the team that came second was awarded Rs 10,000 and a trophy and the team that came third was awarded Rs 6,000 and a trophy.
