Delhi LoP accuses AAP of corruption, demands special Assembly session
Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta, held a press conference on Wednesday, presenting a series of corruption allegations against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, particularly targeting Delhi Minister Atishi. Gupta posed 10 pointed questions to Atishi, demanding answers within 24 hours and called for an immediate Assembly session to address the problems raised.
“If Atishi fails to respond within the given time, it will confirm the Opposition's claims that the Kejriwal government is deeply mired in corruption,” Gupta said. Gupta’s 10 questions cover a wide range of topics, from the lack of meetings by the National Capital Civil Service Authority (NCCSA) to the failure to implement the ‘Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana’ in Delhi. He also questioned the handling of the Delhi Jal Board's financial report, which was allegedly suppressed by Atishi.
