The Delhi High Court on Monday listed the next date of hearing on November 25 regarding the bail pleas of former JNU student Umar Khalid and student activist Sharjeel Imam in a case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) linked to the alleged conspiracy behind the 2020 Delhi riots.
The pleas, along with those of Khalid Saifi, founder of ‘United Against Hate,’ and other co-accused, were scheduled for a fresh hearing on Monday before Justice Navin Chawla and Justice Shalinder Kaur. However, the Bench did not assemble.
The case had previously been handled by a Bench led by Justice Suresh Kumar Kait.
