Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva accused Chief Minister Atishi of surpassing her political mentors Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia in making unrealistic promises to voters regarding education.

Allocate funds for parks: Kapoor

  • In a letter addressed to Mayor Shelly Oberoi and Municipal Commissioner Ashwani Kumar, BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor urged them to allocate at least Rs 100 crore for park maintenance during a special session of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) scheduled for October 28.

Sachdeva claimed that despite a decade of governance by the AAP, the education system in Delhi remains in disarray. “We challenge CM Atishi to an open debate on the education model and demand she explain what happened to the dreams of establishing sports and military schools,” he said.

He pointed out the declining enrollment in government schools, countering claims made by AAP leaders that these institutions have surpassed private schools. “Despite claims from Sisodia and Atishi, the number of students attending Delhi’s government schools continues to decline,” Sachdeva noted.
