DAV SS Public School, Manai

The school hosted its annual Sports Meet, a highly anticipated event that brought together students, teachers, and parents. The day began with a colourful opening ceremony, featuring a march past by the school’s four houses — Aryabhatta, Bhaskar, CV Raman, and S Ramanujan. Principal Dinesh Kaushal declared the meet open, and the events commenced amidst cheers and applause. Players took oath for honesty in sports. Students of Nursery to Class I participated in tricycle race, toffee race, obstacle race, musical chair race and 50 m race. Class II to V participated in 100 m race, spoon and marble race. Class VI to VIII participated in 100 m race, 200 m race, three-legged race, needle and thread race, sack race. Class VIII to XII took part in various track and field events, including the 100 m, 200 m, and 400 m races, long jump, high jump, shot put, and discus throw. In addition to the track and field events, students also participated in team sports like badminton and kho-kho. The meet concluded with a closing ceremony. Principal Dinesh Kaushal congratulated students for their commendable performance.
