With the commitment to spreading awareness about environmental conservation, students of the school organised a “Green Diwali, Clean Diwali” rally. In light of rising pollution levels and the adverse effects of firecrackers, this initiative aimed to encourage the community to celebrate Diwali in an eco-friendly and safe manner. Hundreds of enthusiastic students from various classes participated in the rally, carrying banners and posters with powerful slogans like “Say No to Crackers”, “Celebrate Diwali with Diyas, Not Fireworks”, and “Protect the Environment for a Brighter Tomorrow”. The students, led by their teachers and supported by parents, marched through the streets around the school, drawing the attention of local residents, passers-by, and shopkeepers. The young participants also distributed pamphlets that highlighted the harmful impact of fireworks on air quality and health, especially for children and the elderly. Speaking at the event, Principal Monika Paliwal emphasised the importance of a Green Diwali, urging everyone to be mindful of the environmental impact of their celebrations.
