DAV Public School, Patiala, organises capacity building programme
The school organised a three-day capacity building programme on the motto ‘Work Together Rise Together’ under the aegis of DAVCAE, New Delhi. The main aim of the workshop was to adopt various techniques to make the teaching-learning process more effective. The programme commenced with lighting of lamp by Principal Vivek Tiwari along with other Principals of DAV Rajpura, Kakrala, Kularan and Nabha with the recital of ‘Gaytri Mantra’. After recitation of DAV anthem, all resource persons of workshop for different subjects were honoured with plants. More than 120 teachers from different CBSE schools of Patiala, Nabha, Moonak, Kakrala, Kularan, Samana and Badshahpur and 19 master trainers participated in the workshop. The participants were encouraged to adopt NEP-2020. Experiential learning and usage of various teaching learning material aids were also an effective part of these workshops. It was an interactive workshop where all teachers participated enthusiastically and sought answers to the queries from the experts. In the end of the workshop, Principal Vivek Tiwari presented a vote of thanks to the resource persons and conveyed a message to the trainee teachers that they should adopt these efficient techniques in their teaching-learning process for the better outcome.
