The Annual Sports Meet commenced with the junior section, covering classes III to V, at the school. Senior teachers Deepima Rathore and Kanchana Varman inaugurated the sports meet. The event began with a cultural programme featuring a ‘Pahadi’ group song and Punjabi dance. The students took the oath and enthusiastically participated in various sports like kabaddi, chess, 100 m race, 200 m race, 400 m race, tug-of-war, sack race, three-legged race, and rope skipping. In the girls’ category, Dayanand House secured the first position in the 100 m race, while Vivekananda House claimed the top spot in the 200 m and 400 m races. Vivekananda House celebrated further victories by winning both the sack race and three-legged race. In the boys’ category, Hansraj House won the 100 m and 400 m races, while Aryabhatta House secured the first place in the 200m race. Aryabhatta House also won the sack race, while Hansraj House triumphed in the three-legged race. Dayanand House emerged victorious in the kabaddi competition. In tug-of-war, the girls from Hansraj House and the boys from Aryabhatta House secured first place. Hansraj House maintained dominance in the yoga competition, while Dayanand House won the rope skipping event in the girls’ category, and Hansraj House claimed the title in the boys’ category. In the kabaddi matches, Aryabhatta House took the lead in the girls’ category, while Dayanand House emerged victorious in the boys’ category.
