Dadri MLA urges govt to fill vacant posts at hospital
BJP MLA from Dadri Assembly constituency Suneel Sangwan on Thursday raised public interest issues related to education, health and waterlogging for the Dadri area in the Assembly.
The newly elected first-time MLA raised the issue of vacant posts of radiologist, surgeon and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at the Dadri Civil Hospital and urged the state government to immediately fill the vacant posts. He also took up the problem of waterlogging in about four hundred acres around Dadri during the rainy season and demanded compensation for the affected farmers for their losses.
Sangwan said the farmers could not sow crops due to waterlogging. “In such a situation, these farmers should be provided some compensation after conducting a survey in the area,” he said.
The MLA also raised the issue of accumulation of rainwater at Government Model Sanskriti School of Dadri town and demanded its permanent solution. He said that due to the accumulation of water, schoolchildren had to face problems in going to school.
The MLA said that a network of canals was laid in Bhiwani district by late Bansi Lal during his tenure as the chief minister. “Now, with the Irrigation Department being held by Tosham MLA Shruti Choudhry, there is hope among farmers that the area would get canal water in abundance,” he said.
“I hope that the government will also ensure water in areas that are facing shortage. We are thankful to the Chief Minister as the government ensured canal water in Bond Kalan village after the matter was brought to his notice,” he said.
Sangwan said that the BJP had created a record by forming the government for the third time in Haryana due to its performance in the previous tenures. “It is the first time after the formation of the state that a party has come to power for the third consecutive time,” he said. Attacking the Congress, Sangwan said that those who are saying that EVMs were faulty should evaluate their own position.
