The 13th Inter-College Youth Festival of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University entered the second phase with stage events.

Tarunpreet Singh Sond, Cabinet Minister for Hospitality, Labour, Rural Development, Tourism, and Cultural Affairs, Punjab, formally inaugurated the festival as the chief guest. He appreciated the artistic performances of students and invited them to come forward to set up their ventures and enterprises.

Dr Jatinder Paul Singh Gill, Vice-Chancellor, urged the students to take part in the event zealously. He said the youth festival was a unique platform for students to show their hidden talents on. Acknowledging the strenuous curriculum of professional degrees, he said the students had very little time to engage in extracurricular activities; nonetheless, they had performed excellently.
