Eleven persons succumbed to Covid-19 in the district during the past 24 hours, taking the total number of deaths to 567. Meanwhile, 828 persons tested positive while 733 got better of the virus. Among the new cases, 334 came from Mohali (urban), three from Banur, 29 from Boothgarh, 17 from Kurali, 15 from Lalru, 41 from Gharuan, 148 from Kharar, 106 from Dera Bassi and 135 from the Dhakoli area of Zirakpur. The district has so far reported 43,439 cases with 34,637 getting cured of the disease. There are 8,235 active cases. TNS

6 die, 837 infected in Chandigarh

Chandigarh: The city recorded 837 Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the number of active cases to 5,980. With six more deaths, the toll has reached 446. The total number of cases in the UT has reached 40,350. A total of 426 patients were cured. TNS
