Covid: 22 cases in Chandigarh, 1 death

Chandigarh: The city reported 22 fresh Covid cases on Sunday. The overall count reached 91,567. The city also saw one death of a 93-year-old man from Mani Majra, who was brought dead at the PGI. He tested positive posthumously and was fully vaccinated. TNS

43 cases in Mohali

Mohali: The district saw 43 fresh Covid cases during the past 24 hours, taking the total number of positive cases to 95,434, whereas 51 patients were cured of the disease. No fresh death due to the virus was reported from any part of the district on Sunday. Among the new cases, one each came from Gharuan, Dera Bassi and Kurali, three from Boothgarh, 13 from Dhakoli and 10 from the Mohali urban area. There are now 281 active cases in the district.
