Counting of votes at 6 places in Faridabad dist
The District Election authorities have revealed that counting of votes for the six Assembly segments in the district will be done at six spots simultaneously for which all preparations have been done.
A spokesperson of the district administration said that the officials were fully geared up to conduct the counting in a free and transparent manner. Counting of votes from 229 booths of Prithla constituency will be done in 16 rounds at Punjabi Bhawan located in Sector 16 here. Counting of votes will be carried out at Lakhani Dharamshala for the 288 booths of NIT Assembly segments in around 21 rounds.
Similarly, the counting of 283 booths of Badkhal segment will be carried out in 21 rounds at Daulat Ram Dharamshala in NIT zone. Votes of Ballabgarh segment will be counted at Sushma Swaraj Government College, Sector 2, in about 19 rounds.
The counting for Faridabad segment will be done at DAV school in Sector 14, while this process for Tigaon seat will take place at Gurjar Bhawan in Sector 16. 90 tables had been set up at all the six counting centres for this process, the spokesperson said. Badkhal, NIT, Tigaon, Faridabad, Ballabgarh and Prithla are the six Assembly segments falling in the district.
