Chandigarh sees 13 new cases, one death

Chandigarh: The city on Thursday reported 13 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the UT tally to 21,184. The city also witnessed one Covid death. A 78-year-old man from Sector 40, also a case of hypertension, acute kidney injury and coronary artery disease, died at the PGI. A total of 30 more patients recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours. — TNS

Two die in Mohali

Mohali: Two fatalities were witnessed due to Covid-19 during the past 24 hours, taking the toll to 376 in the district. Meanwhile, 31 fresh cases were reported till Thursday evening while 27 more patients have been cured. Among the new cases 30 came from Mohali (urban) and one from Gharuan. 8 fresh cases in Panchkula dist

panchkula: The district on Thursday reported eight fresh coronavirus cases, taking the overall tally to 10,636. The Covid toll remained at 147. While 10,401 patients have recovered from the disease so far, 88 cases are still active. The recovery rate stands at 97.79 per cent. — TNS
