A 27-year-old construction worker died after falling off from the fifth floor of a housing society in Gazipur area.

The victim, who has been identified as Jai Krishan, a native of Uttar Pradesh, had fallen from the fifth floor of High Green Society and sustained multiple injuries. He was working at the time but slipped and fell off the building.

He was rushed to the Panchkula Sector-6 hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The victim's kin are yet arrive, following which further action will be taken. The body has been kept in the mortuary.
