Congress leader Raman Tyagi, who contested the Assembly elections from the Yamunanagar Assembly constituency unsuccessfully, today held a meeting with his supporters and party workers at his office in Yamunanagar.

He thanked his supporters and party workers for supporting him in the election.

He said the Congress high command trusted him and gave him the ticket to contest the Assembly elections from the Yamunanagar Assembly constituency.

He said he along with his supporters and party workers worked hard and secured votes in good numbers.He further said he could not win the election, but he got 50,455 votes with the hard work of his supporters. “Victory and defeat do not matter to me as these are part of life. Our main motive is to serve the public,” said Raman Tyagi. He said the public had given him immense support for which he would always be grateful to them.
