With public meetings and Haryana Vijay Sankalp Yatra, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is set to give a boost to the party’s poll campaign in Ambala, Yamunanagar and Kurukshetra districts tomorrow.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi will also join Rahul in the events and as per information, they are scheduled to address a rally in Naraingarh Assembly segment of Ambala. After the rally, the yatra will reach Bilaspur Road, Sadhaura (Yamunanagar), Mullana and Saha of Ambala, Shahabad, Ladwa, Pipli and then Thanesar in Kurukshetra. At Thanesar, another public meeting will be addressed in support of party candidates.

Talking to The Tribune, Ambala MP Varun Chaudhry, said, “Senior Congress leaders will cover six Assembly segments of three districts in a day and it will give a boost to party workers and the ongoing campaign. They will address public meetings in Naraingarh, then cover Sadhaura area of Yamunangar, then there will be two events in the Mullana Assembly segment and then in Kurukshetra district. Later in the evening, there will be a public meeting in Thanesar. The Congress workers are excited and they are working hard to make the events successful.”

Thanesar candidate Ashok Arora said, “Congress leaders Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi will address a rally in Thanesar on Monday. Party workers are full of enthusiasm and we are inviting the people of Kurukshetra to turn up in large numbers to welcome them.”
