Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said the Congress only knew how to fill its and loved ones’ houses “and make its son-in-law happy”.

Saini said the Congress had deprived people of facilities through corruption and one should stay away from such parties and not get misled by them.

The CM was addressing a “Jan Ashirwad Rally” in the old grain market here in support of BJP candidate Pramod Vij.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Aggarwal, who unsuccessfully contested the Assembly election in 2019 from the Panipat urban constituency on the Congress ticket, joined the BJP in the presence of CM Saini. BJP rebel Independent candidate Himanshu Sharma and youth leaders, Shashi Kapoor and Sheru Kapoor, gave their support to the BJP candidate.

Launching a fierce attack on the Congress and former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Saini said Hooda remained CM for 10 years, but he (Saini) was able to work for 56 days only. If Hooda wants, he can compare the tenure of both and see who has done more work, he added.

Saini further said that the election had reached its final stage. Every worker had to make his full effort to take part in the festival of democracy on October 5 and make Pramod Vij win by pressing the lotus button.

“We have developed Haryana in the last 10 years and the remaining gap would be completed within the next five years after the formation of the BJP government and working with Prime Minister Narender Modi,” Saini added.

“Our objective is to develop Haryana at a rapid speed. People’s support to the BJP from all across the state has clearly shown that the BJP is going to form the government in the state for the third time,” Saini asserted.

The construction of roads, medical colleges and university openings etc have all been done by the BJP, he said. After October 8, the pace of development will be three times more and the state will touch new heights of development, the CM asserted.

Whatever problems existed in property IDs, our government would work to root these out, he added.
