Dharampur Congress MLA Chander Shekhar launched a scathing attack against the BJP and former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, accusing the BJP of creating instability and misleading the people of the state. Speaking at a conference here on Wednesday, Shekhar claimed that despite the current CM’s efforts to bring about ‘vyavastha parivartan’ (administrative change), the BJP’s actions were creating a “chaotic” situation in the state.

Shekhar said, Thakur, during his tenure, failed to advocate for the people.

The MLA talked about the reported lack of financial aid from the Central Government despite major tragedies in the state last year, stating that the state received only Rs 300 crore. Shekhar also said Thakur was silent on key projects, including the Rs 1,500 crore funds allocated for Balh Airport in Mandi during the BJP regime, which remain unreleased.
