Uttar Pradesh CM and senior BJP leader Yogi Adityanath today held rallies in Faridabad and Mahendragarh with an eye on migrants and the Rajput community.

Congress delayed Ram mandir work: Yogi

Yamunanagar: UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said Congress was the biggest obstacle in the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He said if the Congress government wanted, it could have built the temple, but it created a controversy instead of constructing it. The problem, which Congress could not solve, ended in 2019 after Modi became PM and the BJP government came to power in UP in 2017. The UP CM was here to address a rally held by sitting MLA and BJP candidate from Jagadhri constituency Kanwar Pal Gujjar in Chhachhrauli town. — Shiv Kumar Sharma

At a rally in Faridabad, the UP CM called for rejecting the Congress and other parties to ensure the momentum of growth and peace brought by the BJP rule in the past 10 years in the state and the Centre.

He alleged that all ills like corruption, terrorism, disunity, Naxalism, family rule, nepotism and communal riots had been a product of the Congress. The UP CM claimed that it had been the BJP that finally freed the people from the clutches of the problems and the exploitation that ran for over several decades. He said the people from UP had been getting higher regard perhaps due to this achievement. Citing an example, he said he was left amazed when a Maulvi greeted him in Jammu and Kashmir recently by saying ‘Yogi ji, Ram Ram’. This he said was the impact of abolition of the Article 370 in Kashmir. “Jo log pehle Bharat ko koste the, wahi aaj aadar samman de rahe hain, he said.

Speaking about the progress in Haryana in the past 10 years, the UP CM said the BJP rule had ended the ‘Mafia raj’ (mafia rule) that was prevalent in all sectors and had been exploiting the common man.

Local MP Krishan Pal Gurjar and BJP candidates from NIT Satish Fagna, Danesh Adlakha from Badkhal, Mool Chand Sharma from Ballabgarh and Tek Chand Sharma from Tigaon were present during the rally. These segments have a sizable population of migrants from UP, Uttarakhand and Bihar.

The UP CM also addressed a poll meeting in Bhojawas village of the Ateli constituency to garner the support of Rajput community. He called upon the voters to take forward a rich legacy of a well-known family of south Haryana by making the BJP candidate Arti Singh Rao win from here with a comfortable margin.

“Arti’s father Rao Inderjit Singh as Union Minister is working to take Haryana forward... when Arti reaches the Assembly, Nari Shakti will get respect,” he added.

Yogi said the formation of the BJP government in the state for the third time was the guarantee of safety, good governance and development, hence everyone should vote for the BJP for the betterment of the state.
