Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu visited Baba Balak Nath Temple at Deotsidh in the Barsar Assembly constituency near here today. He paid obeisance at the temple and also reviewed various development activities being carried out in the temple complex.

The temple is governed by a temple trust with the Deputy Commissioner as its commissioner and SDM Barsar as its chairman, besides the annual earnings of the temple range from Rs 25 to Rs 30 crore — depending on the tourist and devotees influx.

The revenue collected by the trust was spent on various development works undertaken to provide facilities to the people visiting the temple. The Chief Minster said the state government would provide every help to the temple trust and provide state-of-the-art facilities to the pilgrims.
