In a bid to understand the grievances of the people and redress them, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will be visiting far-flung villages in Dodra Kawar in Rohru area of Shimla district.

The Chief Minister said this was being done under the 'Vyavastha Parivartan' initiative to head towards the villages and the remote rural belts of Himachal Pradesh to understand the problems being faced by the people. Sukhu’s visit to Dodra-Kwar on October 26 will mark the beginning of this initiative from the remote area.

Similar directions have been issued to all ministers to visit the rural hamlets of their areas and besides solving their grievances on the spot should share the development schemes and programmes so that they can benefit from them. The initiative will help the government get feedback regarding the performance of the officers and officials posted in such regions.

After assuming office, Chief Minister held a public 'Darbar' for two days in villages of Kaza in Lahaul-Spiti. Based on the feedback he introduced several new development projects. Problems of drinking water, roads, paths, and electricity aced by the people were resolved.
