Haryana CM gives Rs 1 lakh to debt-ridden Ambala farmer
Chandigarh, July 19
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today came forward to help a debt-ridden farmer.
On behalf of the CM, his wife Suman Saini today presented a cheque of Rs 1 lakh from the Chief Minister’s petty grant quota as financial assistance to the farmer’s daughter.
It is worth mentioning that the farmer, Krishan Kumar, a resident of Khanpur Rajputan village of Ambala district, suffered crop damage after heavy rain due to which he was facing a financial crisis.
Krishan Kumar had taken a loan for farming but due to the crop damage, the burden of debt had increased further. Due to this, he was facing difficulties in taking care of his family. His family had requested the Chief Minister for help. The Chief Minister promised assistance to the farmer and today, his daughter Swati reached the CM’s residence Sant Kabir Kutir and received a cheque for Rs 1 lakh. She expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for this help.
