Close shave for 4 as car overturns in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, July 7

Four youths were injured when a luxury car they were travelling in overturned in Sector 10 this morning. The injured youths were quickly shifted to the Government Multi-Speciality Hospital (GMSH) in Sector 16. The accident occurred on the road behind DAV College.

Sources said the car was being driven at high speed, which led to the crash.

One of the passengers said it was unclear how the driver lost control of the vehicle. It flipped before landing on the roadside. The occupants escaped with minor injuries as the airbags got deployed in the crash.

The police were informed about the accident. They have started an investigation into the incident. The car was removed from the spot with the help of a crane.
