Clerical union protests at Fatehgarh Sahib hospital

Fatehgarh Sahib, January 29

The Clerical Staff Union of the Fatehgarh Sahib Civil Hospital organised a protest in front of the Civil Surgeon Office against the ‘dictatorial’ attitude of the Health Department officials. They urged the Civil Surgeon to help employees.

The district president of the union, Bharat Bhushan, said some senior officials had a careless and dictatorial attitude towards work. He said they often came late at the office. He said there was a backlog of patient files waiting for clearance from health officials which created problems for other employees. He said the Civil Surgeon was apprised of the matter and she had assured union members that their grievances would be redressed soon.
