Civic infrastructure in poor shape in Faridabad, admits BJP’s Badkhal candidate Adlakha 

BJP candidate from the Badkhal Assembly segment Dhanesh Adlakha has promised to transform the civic infrastructure of the city in 100 days if elected.

Talking to his supporters and local residents here during the campaign on Sunday, Adlakha admitted that the recent rain had exposed the poor condition of the civic infrastructure in the city. He said it took him 55 minutes to travel a distance of a few kilometres from the NIT area to 21-C due to the pathetic condition of the civic system. He said the situation had turned worse after the recent downpour, which resulted in overflowing sewage, blocked drains and waterlogging at many places.

"There is no proper drainage and it has made the situation and commuting worse. I can't enter the houses of supporters due to the filth all around,’’ he says, admitting that the condition of the roads in the majority of the segment remains in poor condition and needs transformation. However, he said he would not disappoint those who had put faith in him to contest the elections. He promised he would improve or transform the things to the satisfaction of the people within a short time period.

Adlakha, a first-timer, has replaced the outgoing MLA and Cabinet Minister Seema Trikha from Badkhal this time as BJP candidate. Trikha won in 2014 and 2019 elections from this seat.
