Yugansh Sardana, Sidhak Kaur win cross country title

Yugansh Sardana of Tagore House claimed the Milkha Singh Trophy by clocking 22 minutes 42 seconds (22.42s), during the Yadavindra Public School Inter-House Cross Country event. Sidhak Kaur of Ranjit House earned the PT Usha Trophy with a time of 28.21s.

Atichison House emerged victorious followed by Nalagarh House and Patiala House at second and third position, respectively.

In the individual categories, Jaskirat Singh of Ranjit House clinched the boys’ U-17 title with a timing of 28.28s, while Samreet Kaur, also from Ranjit House, took the girls’ U-17 crown in 21.07s.

In the boys’ U-14 race, Samvardhan Singh Thakur of Nalagarh House finished first with a time of 17.37s, and Sehaj Lakhat of Atichison House won the girls’ U-14 title by clocking 15.31s. Shehjad of Patiala House crossed the finish line to win the boys’ U-12 finel, while Hasita Bansal of Atichison House won the girls’ U-12 final with a time of 11.45s.

In the Class 5 race, Samrath Sandhu from Ranjit House completed the course in 4.26s, while Ayanna Singh from Atichison House claimed the girls’ title in 6.27s.

In Class 4 event, Akaal Barcha of Patiala House finished the boys’ race in 4.45s to claim the gold medal, and Arnaaz Kaur from Atichison House claimed victory in the girls’ race with a time of 4.59s.
