As part of the Panjab University Global Science Week, Prof Frank P Coolen, an expert in statistical methodology from the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Durham University, UK, delivered a lecture at PU’s Department of Statistics on the topic “Reproducibility of Statistical Hypothesis Tests”.

Addressing the audience in the hybrid mode, Prof Coolen shared valuable insights into the importance and challenges of reproducibility in statistical hypothesis testing. He discussed in detail about imprecise probabilities, non-parametric Inference and tests to compare multiple samples with examples in pharmaceutical research.

The objective of the event is to provide the students, researchers and faculty with exposure to latest advancements in science and technology, offering them a platform to interact with leading experts.
