The trial in the 2021 Vicky Middukhera murder case has reached the prosecution witnesses stage as the court framed charges against six accused — Kaushal Chaudhary, Amit Dagar, Ajay, alias Sunny, Sajjan, alias Bholu, Anil Latth and gangster Bhupinder Singh, alias Bhupi Rana — recently.

The court framed charges against the accused through videoconferencing under Sections 302, 482, and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and the Arms Act. The accused pleaded not guilty and claimed a trial, following which some of the witnesses were summoned to the offices of Mohali DA and SSP on November 6.

On March 29, the Delhi Police nabbed three suspects for the murder of Youth Akali Dal (YAD) leader Vicky Middukhera that had taken place in Sector 71 here on August 7, 2021.
