Traffic arrangements for Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in Chandigarh

To ensure a smooth and congestion-free experience for commuters and concertgoers, the UT police have made special traffic arrangements for Diljit Dosanjh’s concert at Exhibition Ground in Sector 34, Chandigarh, on December 14.

Five locations have been designated as parking areas, with shuttle buses ferrying spectators to the venue. These locations are Sector 17 multilevel parking and adjoining lots, Dussehra Ground in Sector 43, Ground opposite Laxmi Narayan Mandir in Sector 44, Dussehra Ground in Sector 45, and Mandi Ground in Sector 29.

To prevent traffic disruptions, several roads will be closed or diverted starting from 4 pm. Commuters are advised to avoid roads near the venue, including dividing road between Sectors 33 and 34, Piccadilly Chowk (Sector 20/21-33/34 Chowk), and New Labour Chowk (Sector 20/21-33/34 Chowk).

Additionally, traffic diversions will be in place from Gaushala Chowk (Sector-44/45/50/51) towards either Faidan or Kajheri Chowk, Sector-44/45 light point towards South End or Guru Dwara Chowk, and Bhawan Vidhalaya School T-Point towards Sector-33/45 Chowk.
