Three Kajheri youths arrested for snatching

The UT police have arrested three persons for snatching a mobile phone from a pedestrian.
Complainant Rajpal, a Sector 38 resident, had complained about the snatching on a cycle track in Sector 42. He was returning home on foot from Kajheri village when the suspects triple-riding a motorcycle stopped him and snatched his phone on July 1.
The complainant noted down the registration number of the motorcycle and informed the police the next day.
A case was registered at the Sector 36 police station. During the investigation, the suspects, identified as Charanjit Singh (20), Vivek Kumar (20) and Rahul (23), all residents of Kajheri, were apprehended at a naka laid near the Sector 36/37 light point. The police have recovered the snatched phone and the motorcycle used in the crime.
