The UT police today arrested one of the assailants involved in the incident of firing at an SUV on the Dadu Majra-Dhanas road, while the remaining two suspects were apprehended in Amritsar by the Punjab Police. Four pistols were seized from them.
The complainant, Gurjeet Singh was returning home on September 2 when the attackers intercepted his SUV and opened fire.
According to the police, Gurwinder Singh (24), a cab driver, has been arrested. He was driving the car with the other two suspects. The vehicle used in the crime has also been impounded. The police said the two suspects were being trailed by a team of the district crime cell of UT police.
