The national qualifiers of tent-pegging kicked off at the Chandigarh Horse Riding Society Stables in Sector 51 today. Tent-pegging (lance) and tent-pegging (ring and peg) events were held today.

Horse riders from different academies of in and around the region came to show their skills. The event will go on for two days.

CHRS organising secretary JS Toor said, “All preparations have been made. The first day turned out to be very exciting. From November 15 to 17 the CHRS Horse Show will be held here.” On Friday, tent pegging (sword) and tent pegging (lemon and peg) will be held.
