Sippy murder case: Didn’t make any assessment of accused, admits polygraph expert
Amod Kumar Singh, Deputy Director, CFSL Delhi , who had conducted the polygraph examination of Kalyani Singh, has told the CBI court that he did not make any note regarding assessment of general nervousness, personality, mental status and language spoken of the accused. Singh has admitted the facts during the cross-examination conducted by defence counsel Sartej Singh Narula on Thursday.
The polygraph examination of Kalyani, accused in the murder case of advocate Sukhmanpreet Singh Siddhu, alias Sippy Sidhu, was conducted on November 13, 2017, by Amod.
Answering a question, the expert admitted that he had prepared the report on January 25, 2018, while the test was conducted on November 13, 2017. During the examination-in-chief, the expert said that Kalyani was asked 12 relevant questions, which were answered by her in ‘No’.
Narula questioned him that his own records revealed that Kalyani was not composed or relaxed and she was scared and nervous. He also said that he asked 12 questions, of which 10 questions were almost same as were provided by the investigating officer, while one question was re-framed and one question was added by him. On one question the expert maintained that questions and responses of Kalyani were recorded by his assistant under his supervision.
